Dina H. Bissada is a Commercial Specialist at the U.S. Commercial Service Cairo. She has started her commercial work in 2015 as a Commercial Assistant in the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service Office at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo. She handles a variety of key industry sectors such as Energy, Information and Communication Technology, and Media and Entertainment. Prior to her commercial work, Dina served as the Regional Executive Assistant in the same office where she handled the regional communications and the social media accounts of the North Africa and Levant region. She also worked in 2012 in the Embassy’s political section as an administrator for the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI).
Dina is currently one of the certified Equal Employment Opportunity liaisons of the embassy.
Dina has taken her bachelor’s degree from the American University in Cairo in 2009 with a major in Communications and Media Arts. She also took part of the University’s Student Union. In July 2016, she has completed her MBA degree from Heriot Watt University – Edinburgh Business School. In 2020, she has also completed her online Master Certificate in Global Oil and Gas Management by Thunderbird School of Global Management – Arizona State University. In 2021, she has also completed the Galileo Master Certificate from the Renewable Energy Institute on Electric Vehicles, Market Trends and Finance, and Hydrogen.
Dina speaks Arabic, French and English.
