Joseph McNeil is an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, CEO of the SAGE Development Authority, President of Standing Rock Development Corp/Rock Industries Corp. and Chairman for the Oyate CDFI/Credit Union in Ft. Yates, N.D. He is married to Sheridan McNeil and share four children. He was awarded the Bush Foundation Fellowship for leadership (2019), M.I.T. Oceti Sakowin Inaugural Fellow (2018), is active for Indigenous rights, and community economic development. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Sitting Bull College. He is a former member of the Standing Rock Tribal Council 2009-2013
Leading Native American Tribes with Community Commercial Wind Project 235MW Wind Farm is coming to the end of the SPP Interconnection Queue process in mid-year 2025. Blades projected turning 2028, with the first large-scale Wind Farm to be owned by a federally recognized Tribal entity and also deploying community solar for 8 Tribal Head Starts and 8 District Buildings. With Arc Beam EV Charging Stations, and Level 2 Chargers we are deploying community stations for transit use and electric vehicle acquisition for community engagement and education efforts at our K-12 school campuses.
