EPEAT (Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool) is an ecolabel that helps consumers identify sustainable products (low-carbon solar panels). Qcells has adopted this voluntary standard for PV modules to become the first monocrystalline solar product to achieve this certification, with plans to continue across product lines. This session will showcase the journey of achieving EPEAT certification and Ultra Low Carbon Standard from a solar manufacturing point of view and how this ecolabel will advance the solar industry and support companies’ scope 3 goals.
