Cora Dickson is a Renewable Energy Lead in the Office of Energy and Environmental Industries at the International Trade Administration (ITA) in the U.S. Department of Commerce. Since joining ITA in 2001, Ms. Dickson has worked to address policy concerns with foreign governments on behalf of U.S. exporters in various sectors and markets. Renewable energy has been her focus since 2010, covering many sectors over the years including solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, biofuels, biomass, and waste-to-energy. Most recently, Ms. Dickson has served as ITA's lead analyst for the solar industry, including trade policy related to the solar sector and organizing industry roundtables on strengthening U.S. manufacturing in the solar PV value chain. Starting in 2023 her efforts have focused on promoting global solar supply chain diversification by facilitating public-private dialogues at the Clean Energy Ministerial and the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council. Ms. Dickson earned a master’s degree in International Communication from The American University in 1999.
