Campbell Howe is a Senior Advisor with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office. At DOE, she helps lead efforts on the Pathways to Commercial Liftoff, which seek to catalyze and align public and private investment into clean energy technologies. Prior to DOE, Campbell was an equity investor at Bain Capital Ventures and ICONIQ Capital. She received her Master's in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University.
The Loan Programs Office has tens of billions of available loan and loan guarantee authority to finance and de-risk high impact and commercial-scale projects that help the U.S. reach its decarbonization goals. LPO serves as a bridge to bankability for innovations across clean hydrogen, advanced nuclear power, critical minerals and materials sourcing and processing, advanced vehicles manufacturing, and other industrial decarbonization technologies. As of July 2024, LPO has nearly $300 billion in loans requested across 209 active applications across the country.
