Prantik Saha was born in Bangladesh and grew up in India. He got MS in Applied Physics from Tufts University and PhD from University of California Irvine. After 5 years of research experience in developing several clean energy technolgies at Tufts, UC Irvine, and National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL); he joined as the New Energy Consultant at Black & Veatch. He helps clients achieve their decarbonzation goals by using his domain expertise of energy storage, low-carbon hydrogen, and carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) technologies. He is typically involved in the front-end consulting works to develop clean energy projects by doing strategic advisory, conceptual project design, technical due diligence, bankability analysis, integrated resource planning (IRP) model, decarbonization modeling etc. At Black & Veatch, he has worked on 18+ battery energy storage, 8+ low-carbon hydrogen, 2+ carbon capture, and 6+ LDES projects so far.
