Dan Esposito is a Manager in Energy Innovation’s Electricity Program, focusing primarily on clean hydrogen policy design. His research spans how to ensure hydrogen production is truly low-emissions, the impact of electrolysis on power markets and project development, how to build a robust electrolytic hydrogen industry, and where the use of hydrogen will be competitive and best-positioned to reduce greenhouse gas emissions long term. Dan brings experience from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including years of consulting in energy market analytics to help finance new power generation assets across North America as well as work at the White House Council on Environmental Quality on national decarbonization strategies. He has master’s degrees in public affairs and environmental science from Indiana University's O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs as well as bachelor’s degrees in physics and mathematics from the University of Dayton.
