Savion’s Director of Farming Operations and Agrivoltaics, Sarah Moser, is both a farmer and a developer. She returned home after serving 6 years in the U.S. Air Force to farm and champion economic development for her rural county in Ohio. She now leads Savion’s efforts in farming which aligns with her passion to pioneer creative ways connect agricultural communities to renewable energy and facilitate agriculture’s leadership role in the the transition to clean energy. Sarah helped collaborate on a DOE FARMS grant that Savion achieved with The Ohio State University and oversees all grant activities upon Savion’s utility-scale site. Sarah has completed the rigorous OH Power Siting Board permit process for projects totaling 640 MW and was recently approved for another 800MW plus 300MW storage project that Savion has committed to implementing agrivoltaics across the 5,700+ acre site. Sarah has completed her Executive Certificate toward a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership at Liberty University. She remains a committed steward of progress for her state, living in northwest Ohio, while her and her husband balance raising four boys, farming and rearing livestock as co-owners of the family farm with her younger brother, and actively employing agrivoltaics on Savion sites as they come online.
