Dusan Brhlik, Co-Founder and CEO of Direct Energy Partners (DEP) founded DEP to make renewable energy microgrids accessible to everyone on the planet. His experience at Robert Bosch, LLC as Chief System Architect provided him with opportunities to contribute to the deployment of DC Microgrids at notable sites, including the Department of Defense and American Honda. Collaborating with institutions like NREL, Dusan has offered insights and research to the industry. The introduction of DCIDE, a microgrid design platform, further underscores DEP's commitment to innovation and increasing accessibility to renewable energy microgrids by reducing soft costs associated with design, engineering and procurement of DC Microgrids. Additionally, Dusan's role as Co-chair of the EMerge Alliance allows him to drive the development of emerging vanguard standards for microgrids.
