As the Director of Business Development at Energy Dome, David is responsible for advancing sales and development of customer and partner commercial opportunities in North America. He plays a critical function in ensuring that projects reach a commercial agreement through contractual arrangements sufficient to advance development, financing, and construction of CO2 Battery projects. With a deep understanding of the market landscape, David works with the team to optimize the strategic approach to regions with a need for long duration energy storage solutions.
Prior to joining Energy Dome, David had a background as a commercial energy professional with over a decade of experience in the United States and Canada. His prior roles include working in business development at a long duration energy storage technology startup, and as a specialist in the power marketing division of a large energy corporation.
David has an MBA from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where he was a Dean’s List recipient in the graduating class. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, also from Memorial.
