Katie is a Policy Analyst with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) working on solar permitting, interconnection, community solar, and low-income solar. Her areas of expertise include the SolarAPP+ permitting software, SolarTRACE, the National Community Solar Partnership (NCSP), the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), and the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). Outside of her work at NREL, Katie is a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science and Scientific Computing at the University of Michigan.
