Brian Mehalic has over 20 years of experience designing, installing, servicing, and inspecting all types and sizes of PV systems. He began his career as Lead Installer and Project Manager at EV Solar Products in Arizona, focusing on on- and off-grid residential and commercial PV systems. Brian then worked as Project Engineer for O2 Energies in North Carolina, advising the developer on system design, performance modeling, and performing quality assurance inspections on large-scale ground-mounted PV. Currently he is a curriculum developer and instructor for Solar Energy International; a consultant providing services including system engineering and inspections, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance; and a member of NEC® Code Making Panel 4.
