Aaron King is an electrical engineer and project manager with over 10 years of experience in the solar and storage industry. Aaron started his career designing commercial rooftop PV systems and solar parking canopies. His role quickly expanded into project management where he was involved in all stages of C&I project development, design, procurement, construction and operation. In addition to design and project management, Aaron has also worked as a technical PV consultant and owner's engineer. He has worked with a range of different clients including IPPs, utility companies, property management companies, EPCs, municipalities, state governments, and large universities. Aaron's diverse range of experience has included solar+storage policy and incentive program reviews, EYAs and financial modeling, detailed project design and construction management, and ongoing site inspections and maintenance.
At his current role at Camelot Energy Group, Aaron has increased his focus on stand-alone BESS and PV+BESS hybrid systems, providing owner's engineering services and completing site visits on 20+ projects that include BESS. These systems have spanned a wide range of system sizes, technologies, use cases and markets.
Aaron is a registered Professional Electrical Engineer in the state of Massachusetts and holds a M.S. in Energy Systems Engineering from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
