Cheshta Balwani is an Engineering Manager for Distributed Energy projects at Black & Veatch. Currently, she leads rooftop solar and fleet electrification projects, and is collaborating with various technology startups to bring in innovative solutions to project challenges. With the fleet electrification projects, Ms. Balwani has mainly worked with the data modeling and analysis for strategic planning studies and has been involved with all parts of the strategic planning, which includes, assessment of the fleet/site, plan for fleet replacement, plan for infrastructure installment and economic analysis of the electrification.
Ms. Balwani specializes in strategic planning and assessment studies, technology startup collaborations, process defining, data analysis and algorithm creation.
She holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Process Systems Engineering from Carnegie Mellon, and a Bachelor’s degree of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi.
