Carolyn is a Senior Analyst on the Research and Industry Strategy team at the Smart Electric Power Alliance. She has over 5 years of experience with GIS and over 3 years of experience in the energy industry. In her role, she co-leads the Customer Programs Working Group and conducts state resiliency needs assessments, federal electrification and equity research projects, and utility managed charging program development. Carolyn is passionate about leveraging geospatial intelligence and data analysis to improve energy system planning and build resilience.
Prior to joining SEPA, she attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington where she received her B.S. in Environmental Science with minors in sustainability and geospatial technologies. Carolyn is currently pursuing a M.S. in Energy Policy and Climate at Johns Hopkins University.
