The sustainability industry lacks the diversity needed for equitable innovation. Green Gateways is a program to create sustainability career awareness for BIPOC students to bridge that gap. This program and partner funds help us build the pipeline of Black students from regionally-located secondary schools, universities, and HBCUs into the environmental workforce. This event will cover how to research, network, and apply for your next job in the clean energy space as a student or young professional of color. Attendees will walk away with career tips and resources from BlackOak's corporate partners (Microsoft, Sun Tribe, Summit Ridge Energy, Recurrent Energy, Leyline Capital, etc).
