Thanks to consumer demand and federal and state incentives, solar and storage are booming all across the country. As the solar market grows, the U.S. Department of Energy is putting President Biden’s Justice40 initiative into practice, helping deliver meaningful benefits to communities that need it most, including equitable access, meaningful household savings, resilience, community-led economic development, and workforce expansion.

In this workshop, participants will learn more about what’s in store, and how to leverage incentives such as the Investment Tax Credit, adders and bonus credits, EPA’s $27 Billion Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund awards, and state incentives and programs to deliver on the promise of distributed solar for all. Participants will also learn how to scale meaningful benefits in the development of low-income community, multifamily and residential solar. Participants will hear from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), other state and federal staff, and other experts about the newly expanded National Community.
