Grid interconnection requirements for Inverter-based resources (IBRs) are evolving rapidly, presenting challenges for both new and existing projects. System operators, such as ERCOT, are responding to increased IBR trips during grid events by implementing stricter standards. Updates to NERC PRC requirements and discussions around standards like IEEE 2800 further complicate the landscape. This QuickTalk presentation will address steps project owners can take to enhance their readiness for compliance with these evolving grid requirements.
